No absolutely not. It can be a haiku, a koan, or even a piece of stirring prose. So who defines what is poetry? No one. You set your own bars…and the rhyme plays through the bar :-)

My favorite sage once told me "better look out" else you won't "see" :-) This is a wanderer's wanderlust !!, an attempt to navigate through the omnipresent urban blindness, albeit without any kind compass, and yet, inadvertently and magically, stumble upon the ever elusive truth.

That's true for all things in life. Sometimes someone has defined the bars but you need not follow them. You havto break the bar to be new, fresh, different moving away from the old rituals.
The most known ppl around us have always set bars and not followed others.
I personally like rhyming poems. kinda gives me the poetic feel.
